I have been doing some sort of needlework since the age of 6. If it involves needles and thread, I’m all
over it; from knitting needles to beading needles, yarn to thread. Mix in some beads and lace and I bring
to life the ideas in my head, playing with colors and textures. I knit because I must; I bead because I
can. Some of my blankets and wall hangings have stories behind them, but they all come from the
heart. The yarn itself gives me the initial concept and the rest just flows. The garters have evolved from
simple beaded ones I made for friends to wonderfully complex yet delicate pieces.
